I love incorporating kettlebells, dumbbells and barbells in my exercise routines. Not only does it enhances the intensity of your training but offers different functions that focuses on strength and core training.
Using your own body weight is a great way to get you started if you don’t have any weights to use while exercising away from home or the gym.
Nevertheless, if you prefer not to use weights, your body is still one of the greatest tool to bring out an awesome workout. Doing push-ups, abdominal crunches and leg squats are just a few to name.
I love strength training and enjoy using different weights while working out! Strength training helps increase bone strength, builds muscle mass during your weight loss stage and to top it off…it tones your physique!
I find that when you’re using weights, ideally it’s best to wear workout gloves to give you a better grasp of the weights and also to prevent the development of blisters on the palm of your hands.
I’d like to share with you the workouts I’ve been doing these past few months. I love using weights and resistance machines–they’ve definitely helped me increase some strength. 😊
Yesterday was all about training delts, tri's & bi's so I did some alternating bicep curls & a version of mini side reverse fly exercise. This morning was all about the front & back core…did a twisting leg raise exercise that targets the abs and then back extensions for the e.spinae. 🎧–> Love Me by Jane XO #havefun with #fitnesseveryday 🏋🏽♀️🙃#fitnesslifestyle #fitnessenthusiast #traininsane #biceps #triceps #delts #abs #lats
If your exercise routines become too easy then try increasing the weights that you are using to 5 lbs increments. Challenge yourself and make your workout routine fun!
Have fun working out,
